How to obtain JWT token

Step 1: Log-in to Duolingo

  1. Right click anywhere on the page
  2. Table should appear
  3. Select Inspect and click on it

Step 4: Use the JWT token

  1. Copy code from README.md
  2. Paste the code into the console
  3. Press Enter
  4. Copy the returned JWT token

  1. Find section Storage
  2. Find section Cookies and open it
  3. Find address for Duolingo (https://www.duolingo.com) and click on it
  4. You will see multiple cookies, find and select one called "jwt_token" and click on it
  5. Under the table (Cookie value) you will see your JWT token, you can Copy it and use in HomeAssistant
